    Microsoft snipping tool?

    What do you think? Is Snip & Sketch better than Snipping Tool?

    I find Snipping Tool works better if I just want to paste a snip into a document. If I want to modify it the Sketch tools are rubbish and I prefer to use Paint instead.

  • Why does my gas stovetop "explode"?

    We've had a natural gas stovetop for years. During the last few m onths we've had several small explosions while cooking. This happens after we've been cooking for a while then there's a "whoosh" and flames shoot out from under the pot and the gas ring goes out. It's not a destructive explosion except I was so startled I threw food over the bench.

  • How did photosynthesis evolve?

    It is not as though photosynthesis is a tangential capability or a minor event in the history of life. As the leading science writer Charles Q. Choi put it, “One of the most pivotal moments in Earth’s history was the evolution of the photosynthetic life that suffused air with the oxygen on which virtually all complex life on the planet now depends.”

    Photosynthesis is incredibly complex. The molecular machines and their exquisite, finely-tuned, functions are truly amazing.

  • Creationist Evolution?

    Creationists, especially Young Earthers, say they believe in a circumscribed form of evolution that does not include the formation of new genetic information or the appearancee of new "kinds". I suggest this should be called Creationist Evolution and defined as;

    Creationist Evolution = a change in allele frequency in a population over time
