  • Menstrual Cramps and Kidney Issues?

    Hello,

Due to mild kidney disease, I can no longer take Aleve, which has always been the best medicine for me concerning cramps. Tylenol works okay after the first day but that first day can be murder! Tylenol doesn't do much at all on the first day of my period, which is the worst. I almost died from the cramps this time. Aleve usually knocks them out all day. What do women with kidney issues use besides Tylenol for cramps? I'd appreciate any pointers. Only serious, kind answers please.

    Thanks!

  • Why is my DVD-RW drive suddenly not reading DVDs or CD's?

My computer is less than a year old. I barely use the DVD-RW drive but when I tried to use it last night, it wouldn't work. No matter what type of disc I use, CD or DVD, it won't read. It makes a noise for about a second like it's trying to read it then ejects and tells me to Please Insert A Disc. I have tried many online solutions including uninstalling the driver and using Microsoft's Fix It but they couldn't fix the issue. I'm using Windows 8.1 if that helps. I will appreciate any suggestions.

  • How do I copy DVDs in the Toshiba DR430?

I bought this a year ago and recently wanted to copy a DVD from my VHS/DVD machine. I am trying to copy a DVD I recorded so there should be no copyright issues. How do I hook the machine up exactly for dubbing? I have read the instructions repeatedly but not sure if I need another cord, etc. I had to get this when my Panasonic DVD recorder died last year. The Panasonic was much easier to use because I didn't have to do any extra hooking up to copy DVDs.

I'd appreciate someone with experience helping me out. Once again, not sure if I am missing a cord or not. I have the yellow/red/white cords. Not sure if I need another.

    Thanks!

  • How do I get a copy of a police report that was taken over the phone?

My purse was stolen today with my license and I need to go to the DMV. I'll need a copy of the police report, which was filed over the phone. Will the police send me one automatically or do I have to go to the police station? In my city you can also file online. Can I just file online again so I can print out a copy? I'd rather not go down to the station.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Can a prescription still be authorized if no longer with the same clinic or doctor?

My doctor left the clinic I was going to about four months ago. Last time I needed my blood pressure meds refilled, the pharmacy called and someone at the clinic (I guess) authorized it. Since the last authorization, I will not be going to that same clinic anymore. I still have some months left on my prescription but was wondering if in this circumstance are people still able to get authorization from their previous clinic? Just wondering if I most likely will have to go to a new doctor next time just to get my prescription refilled. I'm hoping they'll authorize again.

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this situation.

    Thanks!

  • My New Boyfriend is Obsessed with My Feet and It's Scary!?

I know this will sound weird, but it is weird to me too. I have a new friend, I am now afraid to categorize him as a possible boyfriend because I'm seriously rethinking seeing him again. He is very weird to me. At first he seemed okay. We haven't seen each other long. We haven't been intimate or anything, just getting to know each other. We've gone on a few dates and recently he came to my place to watch movies. Well, uh, this is when his weirdness really showed.

The thing is, he has a foot fetish. I've never dated a guy with that before but I know a lot of men do. I don't understand what's so sexy about feet, but, that's just me. Anyway, he told me this and I thought it was okay. But now it's clear he has more of an obsession with feet. I notice him looking at my feet. I wear flip flops a lot and I have pretty feet. He's always complimenting me on my feet but when I notice how he's looking at them, it feels uncomfortable sometimes. Sometimes he's talking to me, but looking at my feet with this scary expression. Last night, took the cake.

We were sitting on the couch watching television and he asked if he could rub my feet. I don't really care for all that rubbing and stuff, but I said it was okay because I knew he was trying to be considerate. He took my shoe off and was rubbing my foot, then he started kissing my toe. I was like,"Okay", in my head. Then he started sucking my toe and I didn't like it at all. I told him to stop and he kept trying to play with my feet. I told him I just wanted to watch the movie or whatever. He said okay and seemed cool. Here's the strange part. I fell asleep while watching the movie and when I woke up my foot felt funny. He was sitting on the floor by the couch, in front of me, and licking my feet! I was disgusted. Not at the fact that he did it, but the fact that I'd told him to stop and he couldn't control himself enough to respect what I'd said. I also told him that I don't find satisfaction with my toes being licked and that it all was creeping me out. He kept saying, he'd told me had a foot fetish. Yeah, fetish is one thing, but I think this is beyond a fetish. I am also not comfortable with how he just decided to take advantage of my foot while I'm sleep. It was the nerve he had, after I told him to stop and him doing it after I fell asleep.

He's a nice guy and all but I think this foot thing is a sign that he has issues. Could I be right? Is this normal for folks with foot fetishes? Any women out there who've been with men who love feet, is this normal? I think this guy's just weird about feet!

  • Will Someone Please Help Me With Nero 9 Issue?

I've had Nero 9 for two years. I bought it from the store and it's always worked fine for me. I usually make videos frequently from flv files using Nero Vision. For the last two weeks, Nero Vision has been freezing up when I try to upload a video file to make a "movie". It even freezes up before incorporating existing video files (that are already in Nero) into a new movie. I didn't do anything differently. I even deleted things to make sure my memory in my computer was fine. It is. This is the only problem I am having, using Nero Vision.

I tried to use Nero Burning ROM last night but I have to first convert my flv files to MPEG files or they aren't supported. I liked Nero Vision the most because it was so simple and easy now it's not working! Is there anything I can do to stop it from freezing? I didn't want to uninstall it but I will if that's the only way to fix it. I also know that Nero programs have a habit of freezing but I hope it can be worked out.

I spent over $100 dollars on this Nero program so I certainly don't want to get another one. If I have to get another program, I will not get Nero. I'd get something completely different.

Thanks in advance for the help. Any tips will be appreciated!

  • Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race: You Like The New Queens?

How are you guys feeling about the new queens for this season? I liked the last season's queens better. They were prettier and had more style and class. These queens this season are ghetto. All they do is fight and talk about each other. I admit that new show where they show all the behind the scenes stuff is interesting. They should have done that for last season's show.

I'm not feeling these queens too much. Some of them are very pretty but their attitudes stink. I think the show or RuPaul could have picked better queens. The Next Drag Superstar is supposed to be classy and knows how to carry herself. These new queens talk about each other behind their backs and ***** and complain too much. There's only a few I think are really pretty. The others, you can tell their men.

  • What Causes Someone's Feet to Turn Green?

My cousin told me that her daughter who's 12, feet has turned green! I told her that it could be a sign of gout or gangrene's (sp?) setting in somehow. I also think it may be some form of diabetes but she swears the child doesn't have it. The girl has been extremely overweight all of her life and my cousin keeps saying her physicals are turning out okay. I don't believe that the girl is healthy with the way she eats and the way she moves around. I've looked this up on the Internet but haven't found an answer. I wanted to see for myself. So please, can you tell me of different conditions or diseases that causes a person's feet to turn green?

  • Can Someone Help Me with This Question About Ning Social Networks?

I joined some social networks on Ning but now I have a problem using some of the features on these sites. It's only on Ning. For example I can't accept or deny friend requests on Ning sites. I always get an "error on page" and nothing happens when I try to use certain features. Is there something wrong with my settings? This is the only site I have problems with. Could some please help. This is very frustrating because so far I haven't been able to find anyone who can tell me what it could be and I can't find anything good on the net either. Thanks in advance!

  • My Cousin's Slipping into a Deep Depression- Any Advice? Very Serious?

I have a cousin who I am deeply worried about. He was born with a stutter that has gotten worse over the years. He's now in his mid-thirties and his life has undergone a downward spiral just because of his speech problem. He is a very nice, giving, good-looking and kind person and I hate to see him go through this. He's always been teased about it and though that hurt him enough, he now sees his professional career being at risk. He worked for years at a store but when the new management took charge, they fired him because they said he couldn't communicate well enough with customers. That was back in 1999. Since then he has gone out for numerous jobs only to receive about four (which he ended up losing because of his speech problem). The minute most employers see him, they make up their minds because of his speeh problem. Everyone says the same thing, his stuttering holds him back. I agree.

Things are getting worse because recently he was fired from his last job because he got into a dispute with a female customer and she reported him, claiming that she misunderstood things he told her and this caused things to result in damages and she felt he needed to be fired because of his speech. He tried to fight being fired, but it didn't work so he is unemployed. He's lost all of his jobs due to his stuttering. It's definitely getting out of control.

On a personal level, he's lonely and has tried to approach women but his stuttering has damaged his self-esteem so much that he no longer tries. He's had relationships but lately, he hasn't because he is just too embarrased to speak. He no longer answers the phone because of it and he has just turned into a total recluse. He doesn't go out. He hardly eats. He just sleeps and speaks of how depressed he is. I am the closet to him out of all our cousins so he comes to me with his problems. I have tried to be there for him, but I cannot help him out of this.

I suggested he take adult speech classes but he's too embarrased to even go to them. I suggested he hire an in-house speech teacher to come in and help him privately. He says right now he doesn't even have the will to do anything. He's totally given up. He says I'm the only one who understands him. Even some of our relatives make fun of him. I don't think people realize how serious a speech problem like stuttering is.

I want him to get help for his speech and counseling for his mental state. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. He is more than just being depressed. He even seems to throw hints like he's thinking of suicide. He hasn't said it but I get that feeling. It is so sad to see such a good man who is so full of life and potential just waste away. I never realized how serious this issue is. You rarely come in contact with people who stutter and now I see why. Maybe most of them go through this after a while. My main concern is for him to get speech help because I am worried that one day something might happen and he might need to call 911 or someone and you can't understand him over the phone. He lives alone and he doesn't communicate with anyone.

He is in such a depressed state that he's not taking care of himself or his home. He lets the trash pile up and he lets his mail get so heavy in the mail box until the mail man brings it to his door. He pays his neighbor to run his errands for him and go to the store for him just so he doesn't have to go anywhere. He hasn't left his house ONCE since he was fired and that was three months ago! I tried to get him to go somewhere with me and he screamed like I was killing him!

He doesn't keep up the yard, he doesn't half clean the house. Then again he only stays in his bedroom but, still. This is a major sign that his mental ability isn't right. He's seem to completely given up in life, love and his professional career. What's worse is that his best friend, moved away after they'd been living in the same city for years. It's like every time he turns around something bad happens and it's killing me to see this. I can't believe the cousin that I grew up with as a child who was so full of life and love has turned into this. It hurts me unlike anything else. It's like he's dying right before my eyes.

What can be done? I know it has to be up to him to pull himself through this but he needs a shining light and professional help. What can I do? Does any of you have any experience with this situation? I don't want to see my cousin give up living a life just because he's embarrassed of the way he talks. I'm also concerned that if he doesn't get speech classes he may never be able to get a job again. Communication is a big part of a job. Right now he's living off of money he has saved up but what happens when that runs out? A friend of mine suggested that stuttering can be considered a disability if it stands in the way of you working. Is this true? Can my cousin get disability benefits for this?

I look forward to your answers and thanks everyone. I'm at the end o

  • What Should I Do If I'm Worried that My Ex Has a Mental Illness?

I think my ex-boyfriend has a mental problem. We've been broken up for about two months. We were together five and he can't let go. I want to be his friend but he depends on me way too much. He says I'm the only thing in his life that makes him feel worth something so he comes to me with his problems. He is very miserable and he's only in his mid-twenties. He hates his job. He hates his current living situation and he's depressed and stressed out all the time. He has a learning disorder and he has terrible mood swings. He also overreacts at the mildest situations. He recently left something at work and he almost threw a fit! It wasn't that serious! I am very worried about him. I still care and am trying to be his friend but sometimes it feels too weird. People say I should cut him loose but I know if I did, he will really be depressed. He relies on me and what I want in order to make his decisions. I even think he's a little obsessed. I wanna be there but it's hard. What should I do?
