Do you like off road tires on your jeep even for city driving/country road?

I do.

Really ? I see no advantage in city driving, and only some possibility  on primitive country roads.

nope, off road tires are worthless on roads.

They ride rough, make alot of noise, have poor grip in the winter and summer, and wear out quickly

I don’t have a Jeep, but I had a Series 2 Landrover which was was fitted with off-road tyres as that’s where it was often used as part of a former job I had.

Those tyres were utterly horrible for use on hard surfaces: exceptionally noisy, very hard-riding, appallingly poor grip (the deep wide treads meant there was less rubber on the road and also it was a hard compound), acceleration/braking/top speed and fuel economy were also vastly worse. They also wore out really fast on hard surfaces.

All of that was true using off-road tyres from any premium brand manufacturer: and was entirely normal and expected.

The compromises needed to make an excellent off-road tyre always make them absolutely awful for use on hard surfaces.

So no, I hated them on road. So much so that if I had to take the Landy any more than an absolute maximum of one hour away, I’d load it onto a trailer or a recovery truck provided by my employer for just that purpose.
