Christians, I can't bring myself to "feel sad" about the death of a brutal multiple rapist child killer. All I can feel is happy. Is that OK?

It is only natural to feel relief when such a person is no longer among us. At the same time, it is always sad when one of God's beloved human children dies before they manage to find God and receive salvation.

NO, IT IS NEVER OK, AND WE MUST NOT JUDGE THEM EITHER!

FOR THE MERCY YOU SHOW UNTO OTHERS, IS THE SAME MERCY THAT AWAITS YOU ON JUDGMENT DAY.   LOVE AND PRAY FOR EVERYONE IN THAT WAY YOU ARE LOVING GOD FIRST FOR THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS WANTS NO ONE TO PERISH.

Yes, but have some pity for him too, considering where he's going.

It is good to have true devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows and to meditate on her Seven Sorrows, preferably while reciting Hail Marys with care and sincerity.

I have no problem with the death penalty either. There have been technical mistakes made. But there is nothing wrong with killing someone who deserves it. Sure it’s social revenge. But I don’t need to prove I’m better than a child killer, I am.

Put him in an electric chair , hand him an egg and a piece of bacon. Tell to hold it for a couple minutes, and throw the switch.

You just went on the World Wide Web to ask total strangers if what you feel is ok.

I doubt most people do. What does that have to do with Christians?

Anonymous and Anonymous -- Are you people blind?  She's talking about feeling sad, not about forgiveness.  It's possible to forgive and still not be sad at someone's passing.

Its contrary to what scripture teaches regarding forgiveness and salvation. If eternal hell doesnt bother you then we see no problem.

Then go to hell, because God is the final judge and sometimes people are set up.
