Generally speaking yes. Religious people, not necessarily just Christian, tend to not develop their critical thinking skills, but that might not be due to religion.

Yes, it's basically a disease of the mind. Once compromised with religion that mind cannot be trusted to make rational decisions.

Of course. Only in Jesus Christ can we know true freedom. It is good to recite the rosary at least thrice daily in order to overcome slavery to sin. Jesus and the Virgin Mary are the only two sinless creatures who have ever lived, and who ever will live.
