Congress is in the process of passing the largest infrastructure bill in the nation's history. How successful will enviros be in defeating..?
...significant projects that the bill might otherwise have funded?
Those older than 25 may recall President Obama chuckling with great amusement about the LACK of "shovel-ready projects" when his American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 was passed. IOW, you can allocate the funds, but the enviros are MORE than capable of tying you up in court to the point that you give up.
This leads to the same ? to which we must always return: is this a great country, or what?

The fact is that only a small % would actually be spent on what is typically thought of as "infrastructure." This is more pork barrel spending on liberal social programs than on roads and bridges.https://www.usatoday.com/in-depth/news/politics/20...
