Yahoo News: 17-year-old Lamborghini driver charged in fatal crash— Why not charge the idiot parents who gave a Lamborghini to their 17yo kid?

Would you rather the fatal be with a SMART4TWO car?  Dead is dead.  Why not charge the DMV for giving the boy a license?  That would mean millions of dollars out of every stiff that drives a car as we all pay for that suit should DMV lose.

Since the parents are 100% legally responsible till he is 18, a smart attorney will easily win against them for millions

If kids can decide their own genders they should be held accountable for their actions otherwise.

I have not seen the article. In the US, the parents will be responsible if the child is sued for damages.

When you sign for your minor child to get a license, that also obligates  you with all financial responsibility for any and all damage they do while driving.

Parents who have the money to give a Lambo to their kid are not idiots.  They are rich.  The only idiot is the person behind the wheel.

Any motor vehicle, not just a Lambo, can be a deadly weapon in the hands of an unskilled driver.
