Best router?

I used multiple devices in my home which my family uses the same Internet as me. My router can only manage 4 devices at a time. What do I need for more than 4 multiple devices? For example there is 8 devices altogether.

Don't buy anything netgear.  That's my best advice.

    For home, setup is,

    Modem.

WiFi 6 router of good brand.  I like ASUS these days

Gigabit switches.  One behind the TV for example so you can plug it, receiver, media devices etc into it.

If home is large, then put in one of those Mesh routers.  EERO for example.  They talk on one channel but reply on a different channel so they don't lose speed talking through multiple repeaters.

Having four ethernet ports on the router does not and never will mean that you are limited to that many devices.

I like the Amplifi router.  Keep in mind that the best router can't make up for slow Internet service.

Remember that devices connected to the router but not currently being actively used have no effect on speed.  More than 4 active devices will tend to adversely effect speed irrespective of the router in a domestic situation.

There is no limit on the amount of devices a router can handle.

    The only limit is bandwidth.

I am easily feeding 8 devices with a 26Mb internet service with zero issues.

And my router is merely a 5 year old netgear 802.11N
