I got a credit card just to order online food takeaways, what do you think of that?

Assuming that you'll use it for good, fighting crime and injustice, then cool. But with great power comes great responsibilities.

I hope you picked one with a rewards program such as 5% cash back on restaurants.

As long as you're responsible enough to pay your balance in full every month, having a credit card is a free way to build your credit history and is useful to have in case of emergency.

Nothing. Should i? Just don't come back in a year and complain that you can't afford your bills because they should not have let you charge that much. 

What? Just for ordering food? I'm sure you'll be using it for other things soon.

You need to start somewhere, some places no longer take cash, never thought I'd see the day.

I guess it’s worth it if you order a lot of food for takeaway. 

I personally would not bother because it’s not worth the effort. Why drop a few credit points for something that you can easily pay with cash or a debit card.
