Actually the odds are; you will be what ever religion your parents are.
This goes for Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Atheism or any other belief system you are born into.
This doesn't mean you have to remain in that religion.
Some 50 years ago, religion in the US was about 70% of the population.
Today, this year for the first time, that number is less than 50%.

Not necessarily.

Perhaps. That's how many followers of false religions got involved with them. On the other hand, thousands of followers of false religions discover Christianity and convert, every year.

Most likely, silly. But there are always immigration and conversion. We can't truly say what would have happened in other circumstances.

That's difficult to say as there are many Christians in the Middle East even though they are mainly Islamic.

Most of the world's 1.5 billion Muslims were raised that way and have known no other religion. It's illegal in Muslim countries for anybody to try to convert a Muslim to atheism or another religion, with even the Bible banned. So, chances are, I would be brought up a Muslim - until God decided to step in, that is. Many Muslim converts to Christianity testify to miracles of God, dreams, suddenly discovering a bit of the Bible etc turning them to faith in Christ. But they have to keep quiet about it or leave the country, so we don't hear much about that. However, those with ministries of outreach to Muslims see the Holy Spirit at work in marvelous ways converting Muslims to faith in Christ.

I was born in North America and raised by Christian parents but I am not a Christian.
Location and parentage are factors, but they aren't the "end all/beat all" regarding one's beliefs.
