how to get rid of fur/fungus growing on clay?

I did this hand mould kit thing where you make a cast and then fill it with liquid which hardens etc. You use water in it. Once I got my actual hand mould I put it away in a box. When I opened the box there were water droplets inside and on the actual hand cast was soft fur and small green dots. I got my anti bacterial wipes and wiped over. Next day new fur grew, I had to seal the cast with pva glue and so thought this may help, it didn't. I don't want it to ruin my clay mixture.

If it helps I got it from amazon and this is the link
