What does it mean if you "have a bit of the old one, two, buckle my shoe"? Any idea what that means?
Have any of you ever heard that particular saying before?

It sounds like cockney rhyming slang. Could be a euphemism for sex or for having a drink of alcohol, depending on the context.

It means lace makers were getting ready for work. Here's the reference

It's another very rude and coarse way of saying 'Having it off'- (having sex).

One two buckle your shoe, three four shut the door, five six pick up sticks, seven eight don't be late, nine ten do it again . I have no idea where it came from or what it is for . It may be a hop-scotch cadence .
