Do you think Derek Chauvin is guilty or not guilty?

Yes, he is guilty of manslaughter or third degree murder.  In the photo, Chauvin had a "smirk" on his face, when he was kneeling on Floyd's neck.  There are times, when police are being attacked or threatened where force is necessary, but Floyd was already handcuffed.

Not guilty. Chauvin was the star of the bystander's video so everyone blames him. There were other cops with their knees compressing Floyd's chest. When Floyd got physically exhausted resisting the pressure of those cops' knees, that's when he could no longer inhale. Floyd was able to speak with Chauvin's knee on his neck indicating that air flow was not cut off at the neck. Speaking involves air moving past vocal cords. Chauvin's knee mostly prevented Floyd from moving around but did not cut off his air supply.

If he's found guilty, it will be like the O.J. trial where jurors admitted after the trial that they believed he did it, but wanted payback for all the perceived injustices done to blacks.

The authorities want Chauvin found guilty purely to avoid the rioting, looting, and destruction that will surely follow a not-guilty verdict.

Let's put it this way.  No matter what George was going or not doing,  it was clear and obvious that he was unresponsive and NOT struggling anymore , after a certain point.

There were people standing right there, filming, screaming at them to get off his neck, and that he wasn't breathing.

They did nothing, did not bother to check, and just kept him pinned to the ground, not allowing his lungs to expand which kills a person by suffocation.

I sincerely doubt the legal definition of MURDER will be met here, but anything LESS  than Homicide or Negligent Homicide,  and they will probably burn the city to the ground .

Everyone saw the tape.  The man was KILLED in broad daylight while people stood there, filming it.

and you don't execute people for petty crimes, before it was even proven if he was guilty or not!

Let's put it to the test. Have someone kneel on HIS neck for nine minutes.

He's guilty. He should have gotten off the guy's neck. Floyd was also responsible for his own death because he refused to ride to the jail in the back of the cop car.. Had he cooperated, he'd be alive today.

Depends on the charge. Of premeditated murder? Dubious. Of neglience and homicide and failure to care, clearly. He caused the death of George Floyd.

    Of murder, no. Manslaughter, yes.
