How high wattage box can I use to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max without hurting the battery?

I have an iPhone 6s, and I murdered the battery health by charging it with a fast charge cord paired with a 10w box (from my iPad). Now the 6s dies 3-ish times daily. What wattage is safe with the 12 Pro Max (with the MagSafe charger)?

    Doesn't matter. USB is smart enough not to overload it.

    Any size you like, it won't do any harm.

    The charge control electronics are in the phone (or in any device that charges from a USB socket) and the device will never take more current than the makers intended.

    The USB wall unit is just a 5V "power outlet" in reality and any rating one is OK, as long as it is good quality.

    I use a 6A (30W) multi outlet one for most of my stuff. 

    Phone batteries do have a limited life and once they start to significantly lose capacity, they need charging more often which accelerates the decay. It's nothing to do with the ratings of the power unit.

    The trick to getting the longest life is avoid the limits, eg. if you run the battery between 20% <> 80% you will get around four times the number of charge cycles, though each only give about half the use. Still double the overall life.

    Any iphone 6s that is still on its original battery is just about a miracle, I changed mine a couple of years ago as it was getting down to a few hours life. It's like new again since, but I got a 12 at christmas..

    (If you think about it - Lithium batteries are generally rated for 500 - 1000 charge cycles.

    That's roughly 3 - 6 years if it were only ever charged alternate days, half that if charging daily)
