HAS ANYONE on EARTH invented something for SNOW REMOVAL that uses a LASER or HOT BOTTOMED truck instead of REUSED SALT to handle SNOW ?

    Yes it's called the snow dragon it's truck that has a small plow blade on the front and like a snow removal machine it kicks most of the snow to the side. Right behind the blade are nozzles and the snow dragon uses diesel fuel to blast blazing hot air.

    metro north railroad has a jet engine mounted on a rail cart to blow snow off the track and from around the switches . it on youtube ,

    They do have some chemicals and such but generally, melting and such takes too much energy and is not as fast as you would think.

    As there is no portable power system that could power such a thing, of course not.

    There are heated sidewalks and under street heating.  Look them up.

    Heat spoils an asphalt surface. We use salt on the highways and sand in residential areas.
