Floyd Mayweather could have cleaned out the entire middleweight division if he had wanted true or false?

I personally feel he could have. He easily beat Canelo Alvarez, and Canelo Alvarez is considered the number 1 best fighter in the world right now. I think he would have also beat GGG, Kovalev, and the rest of the middleweights. Doing what even Roberto Duran could not.

Update:

To the Anonymous person who answered saying Floyd "is too small"...He beat Canelo and Delahoya at middleweight.

He didn't beat de la Hoya or Alvarez at middleweight. He fought both at Super Welterweight (154). I think the middleweight division was that poor he could have. However it would have required taking a risk and Mayweather didn't take risks.

He went 50 50 with an old Oscar. Like Oscar, he could have likely beaten the average middleweight but elites like sergio martinez and later ggg would have been too big and strong for him.

There are weight classes for a reason

He beat Canelo when Canelo wasn’t even close to his peak. Canelo was also weight drained by Mayweather. At the point he bnarrowly beat de la Hoya , he was already past his prime.

Adam made a good point when he said the Middleweight division was very weak at that time. And hes right. Maybe Floyd did have a chance.

False, Floyd Mayweather Jr. campaigned in the 125 pound or Featherweight division in the Olympic games before turning professional at 130 pounds where he won his 1st world championship from Genaro Hernandez. 160 pounds was never a division Mayweather campaigned at. I do think Mayweather was the world's best welterweight.
