2021 Kia Soul vs 2020 Chevy equinox ?

I have a Toyota Camry and I hate it cause is in the shop every month almost last month I had to put up $6k for new sensors and new bumper

But we looked at a Ford Escape 2021 liked it but kinda expensive monthly payment

Checked with Honda Accord 2019 $6k down payment but if u can put $6k on a Honda for a used car why just get a new car like a Kia Soul or the Chevy equinox and get a bigger suv instead a small car for 4 people.

But what I hear the negative reviews about the Kia Souls the cvt line and chevys in general they are not reliable cars etc

But they say Toyota are reliable but every month my car is in the shop idk what to do or believe anymore

Update:

It was $6000 but I only paid $2000

Bumpers do not require servicing or replacement.....unless you run into something and damage it.   If you run into things, that is not really the car's fault.

If the decision comes down to a Kia or Chev, I would choose the Chev, because the nearest Kia dealer is 65 miles away.  Your situation may be quite different

(last month I had to put up $6k for new sensors and new bumper ) you did? If you put that much into new sensors and a new bumper, someone saw you coming. Something is not right here or you are not telling everything correctly as I cannot believe you did put this much money out.

Stick with what you have. Its the best selling car for a reason. Past repairs do not predict future repairs. Your dealer seems to be unethical too.
