What is MLMs?

MLM = Multi-Level Marketing aka Network Marketing aka.......a Pyramid Scheme.

If you want to make money, avoid any MLM.

If you join an MLM, you become a distributor for their products.  That sounds great until you realize that all of the products are over priced and no one will buy from you.  You are told that the easiest way to make money is to recruit others to join the MLM under you.  However, every one you talk to says "No".So...Is it a scam?  Technically, no.Do you make a lot of money?  No, most people do not.  In fact, most people do not make any money.  Over 99% of people who join MLMs end up losing money.  In other words, they would have had more money at the end of the year if they just had said "no" to joining the MLM in the first place.

MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing some places refer to it as Affiliate Marketing. Yep, it's a scam. It's just a nicer name/rebranding of the term pyramid scheme. 99.99% of those who get into those schemes lose money and many lose a lot. As a general rule of thumb, anybody offering to make you rich, you just have to buy their course, book, seminar or join their little scheme, is a liar and is just out for your money. 

MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing.  MLM companies (one of the most well known is Amway) sell products, but most of the income earned by the sellers is based on recruiting other sellers.  The sellers higher on the ladder get a portion of all sales made by sellers they have recruited.  MLMs are not a scam, and are not illegal.  Mathematically, however, only those who get into the company early can make decent money through the activity. 

MLM (Multi-level marketing) is just another word for a pyramid scheme.  The great majority of people make no money at all and even end up in serious debt.  Stay away!!!
