Should anti-vaxers be excluded from public venues in 2021?

Apps are being developed for individuals to upload details of their COVID-19 vaccinations, creating digital credentials that must be shown in order to enter concert venues, stadiums, movie theaters, offices, and to travel abroad to foreign countries.

Private venues should have the ability to set their own standards but making such sweeping rules for all public venues would be a bit troublesome.

For example, did you know that many in government pushed for gays to be excluded from all manner of public venue and event  back in the days when HIV transmission was not fully understood?

My  guess is that many of those supporting such restrictions on civil liberties today might have a different outlook regarding those from the not-so-distant past.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could take the same approach towards immoral people (AKA Liberals). Their obscene & depraved ways is a social disease and has caused more harm to society than any medical disease.

Personally, no I don’t, not at all. Oh and just for the record, no, I’m not an anti-vaxxer.

This is a fundamental question of freedom. If we start placing restrictions on what people can and can’t do based on legal choices that they have made, we aren’t too far from a Chinese-style social credit system.

I understand completely that we’re in an unprecedented emergency situation and some extreme measures are probably warranted. However, we are walking a VERY fine line here, and I find it disturbing that people seem to think absolutely any amount of authoritarianism is justified if it’s in the interest of public safety and nothing is a step too far.

I guess if you’ve made the choice that liberty is no longer important and public safety is everything, that’s your choice. I personally am not of that mindset.

Because you want to move one step closer to a "mark of the Beast" like society. Ignore the long term consequences due to immediate fears and anxieties.

Yes, and their health insurance should be cancelled too. Why should we all pay for someone that does not want to protect themself?

Yes. They have the freedom to not get vaccinated, but not the freedom to to infect the rest of us.

No. We have freedom in America. If the vaccine is effective, you have nothing to worry about.

Anyone without a vaccine should be excluded. Finally my dream is becoming reality.
