Will bringing politics into baseball kill the league ?

Nobody wants to get messed with by the cops, and nobody likes a dirty cop, but...

Nobody likes being preached to by a millionaires about how "rough" they have it. Do you think that the players pushing the BLM / kneeling, etc. is going to kill Major League Baseball, or will the Chinese pandemic be the cause of death?

Update:

Several really good answers, two really stupid ones..thanks.

When will these teams realize people watch for entertainment, not a political protest?  Play your kiddie games and collect your pay.  But in the process, STFU about politics.

They will lose a lot of money, just like the NFL, Gillette, Good Year etc. I have followed formula 1 for years and this is the first year I can’t be bothered to watch it, what with bending the knee and that hypocrite multi millionaire Hamilton whining on when truth be told he was groomed by McLaren to be the first black F1 driver from an early age and owes his success to being half black. I wonder what his white mum thinks about her life not mattering.

Baseball's stance has surprised me, considering how "conservative" and white baseball is.  Even with the abundance of foreign players, baseball is still viewed as  "white man's game" because of its fanbase.

Anyone that interprets their actions as saying how tough they have it is either intentionally misunderstanding or just plain stupid. They do it for other people in solidarity. Not everyone has a self-centered view of the world so maybe don't project that onto everyone else.

People who also think that it's any more political than saying the pledge of allegiance or listening to the star-spangled banner before are also just fooling themselves.

I hope so. Sports are too expensive anyway.
