The 1980 revolution ?
It was the 1979 revolution ( and started as early as 1978).
and Iran did not invade iraq , Iraq invaded Iran.
"The Iran–Iraq War or "Holy defence" as called among Iranians began on 22 September 1980, when Iraq invaded Iran".
