Will government assist if i don’t work because of corona virus?

The government won't prepare you tax return.

You'd probably qualify for unemployment benefits, like anyone else temporarily out of work because their workplace closed or cut back on staff. There might also be something special available due to the virus, but that's not definite yet.

They are talking about it. Have to wait & see. You should also look for other work.

Who do you think funds the government?  WE DO.  You, me and everybody else who works.  EVERYBODY is subject to this virus, not just you.  The President has already announced that there will be coronavirus-related loans provided so if your employer's business is shut down as a result of the virus, go ahead and apply - see if you qualify.  If you think that the government has funds for paying everybody a salary because their employer can't, you are dreaming.  There is no budget for a virus or such a pandemic.  It has never happened before, and there isn't enough money for what is currently needed so - forget about that in the future.  If the illegals are prevented from stealing our social security, people's ID, bank accounts, burglarizing our homes and wiping us out, damaging our property worth 20k and more each, that would help but, expecting that the government has that kind of money just sitting in an account waiting to pay you when you can't work - you are delusional.
