Mercedes Benz is more of a status car in regards to luxury. You would see rich guys riding around in one with a driver. Kind of like a lemo. If a guy is driving the car himself and wants to pick up girls or appear more macho, he will get a Porsche. The Boxster is often thought of as a chick car. My wife has one. I drive a big Mercedes ML350 diesel. Off road.

Source(s): EUROPEAN cars are made to the HIGHEST specifications for SAFETY and SPEED! They use the BEST brakes and are so thoroughly yested, many are nearly ACCIDENT PROOF! It is NOT about prestige as muxh as the pricey TECHNOLOGY that eventually all cars try to achieve! The BENZ cars are the onlty on es I know of that save GAS when using the AC syste,! HOW? they run the GAS LINE through the AC SYSTYEM ina chamber that COOLS THE GAS DOWN several degress. The COLD GAS burns differently and burns CLEANER and more fuel is burned more compkletely! THINK ABOUT THAT ONE! good luck IN CHOOSING YOUR NEXT CAR! I prefer audi ADN bmw< USUALLY EVEN THOUGHT THESE COMPAN IES all sue the same suppliers AND fluid MAKERS! TODAY most AMERICAN CARS also use GERMAN MADE or designed trannies from the ZF company, or AISIN WARNER of JAPAN bye now! We have MANY ZF reman plants in the USA! BYE NOW
