Choose a respected Republican and a respected Democrat to run as Independents for President and Vice-President in 2020.?
For example, Mitt Romney and John Kerry, or Colin Powell and Elizabeth Warren.

You would have to find to moderate.
Romney, Kerry or Warren are not moderate
For Republican you need someone like Kirk(IL) OR Heller(NV).
From Democrats someone like Donnelley(IN) or McCaskill(Missouri)
You can not have them from the north east or new England.
You need the middle or south.
They need to get along and work together.

Is this a trick question? None of your examples are “respected” politicians

Colin Powell and John Kerry maybe, but don't tell me Warren is or should be respected. Also, I don't care to have Romneybot in office, either.
I don't know what it is about Romney, but I do not trust him AT ALL.
The only time I got REALLY excited about voting for the presidency was when I heard McCain and Lieberman were running together.
In a time of turmoil in the US, two people from opposite parties coming together to work for unity...... It was AWE-inspiring. Then they nixed that whole idea and put up that ditz from Alaska as the VP nominee.
Surprise surprise, business as usual.
