What is this symbol in the expression '見てくれてありがとう'?
I tried searching for it in hiragana and katakana list but could not find it

I'm assuming your referring to the kanji 見, it is read み, so in hiragana the expression is みてくれてありがとう。In English I think it means "thanks for looking for me." Hope this helps
