Do you agree that people stereo-type individuals with pierced lips, nose, eyelid, and other visible body parts?

A group of friends, family and I were watching the news of an individual who was murdered. At first all in the room voiced empathy for the victim s family. But then they showed the victim s mother. She had piercings in several places and immediately a negative attitude replaced the empathy.

Excuse me, what the hell is wrong with you? Do you HONESTLY think that you'll get anywhere in life talking about piercings? Grow the **** up. Come on. Its the 21st century. You're such a ****. How about you try getting a job and stop going on the computer talking about piercings and Donald Trump?

    Grow up!!!

The piercings are evidence of something gone wrong in the person. If you want to call that stereotyping, then it is stereotyping, but then so is your doctor diagnosing your condition based on symptoms. It doesn't make the story less sad, though.
