He would have to tear up the no trade clause or.....Cleveland or the Warriors - which he would permit a deal to take place right now - must step up for a blockbuster. It comes down to what legit contender can clear cap room for his contract.

He has said he wants to play for either The Cavs or The Clippers. I havent looked at the salaries for each player, but a trade of Melo for Kevin Love looks like it makes the most sense. Who says yes and who says no? What other trades could possibly happen if Melo is traded by the trade deadline? I only care as far as striking up a conversation about this, so throw no stones my way.
