Can i recover exhaust heat by using it to pressurize fuel from inside compartment before fuel pump?

will that reduce fuel pump energy consumption? This question applies to any type of engine

    Hi this rather lethal idea has been tried before with some disastrous results as gasoline explodes. so look at some of the patterns that have been used in the past.

    the atkinson cycle is the best idea yet to actually work. in the saving of fuel.

    Old boat outboards did that so that they did not have to have a fuel pump. You won't save s*() other than not needing a fuel pump if you engineer it correctly.

    That sounds like a turbocharger. It uses the engine's exhaust to generate more power or conserve fuel consumption
