Is "naked and afraid" fake?

Don't confuse fake with stupid. The nudity is real (at least for them), but the scenarios are contrived, the premise is stupid, and the execution is amateurish. I like being naked and I enjoy being in the wilderness, but not where it's cold at night and not without being prepared. Even the most primitive people are much better prepared for their environment than those poor saps are.

It is naked people being filmed at every step by a camera crew fully equipped with food, clothes, medical emergency supplies etc.
