Socialism failed every time it was tried. Those countries proclaiming Socialism today allow enough free market capitalism to suck from so they won't starve.

Divergent said, "Your first problem would be removing your face from under my boot." He is absolutely correct. Go for Socialism, and you will start a civil war that will make the first one look like a pillow fight.

Whatever. We did in institute Socialism under the constitution in 1933 where you been?

The two things are not mutually exclusive. If we wanted to institute socialism we would not have to scrap the Constitution. Your question therefore makes no sense.

I would be your problem and I'm sure millions of others would stand with me. Socialism is just plain anti-American.

Well the main problem would be getting rid of the constitution, as nobody has the authority to do that.

We would have a Nation of Lords and Serfs and some call that Progressive.

Common conservative BS, America does not need to change a single word of the constitution to "turn socialist". There is not one word against "socialism" in the whole thing.

just ask the many millions who experienced it for themselves, that is, those who are left that their own government didn't murder.

Did you know that congress broke the constitution last week by taking away written powers of the presidency in the defense bill they passed?
