express outrage at the abuse of animals? There is a eird law that most people do not know about concerning animal testing: Everyone I talk to think that animal testing is "necessary" and that it is "better than doing it on people" but they don't KNOW what it is really like. IT is NOT even a cold-bloodedly purely logical process like that;but instead, according to a weird Federal law, ALL products must be administered to 200 animals UNTIL it kills them. Check the David Icke website for details. I believe this is cruel and outrageous and, if they spray hairspray in the eyes of rabbits who have their little heads held still in a vice, until the rabbits twist around in pain so much that they snap their necks,you should just DO WITHOUT hairspray: It really isn't NECESSARY to have stiff un-moving ahir anyway. What do you think?

Nonsense. You can buy cosmetic products EVERYWHERE in the US that prominently display, "no animal testing" on their labels.
 PETA, as much as I disapprove of their tactics these days, has an online list, 26 pages, of cosmetic companies that do not test on animals.

I hate to see animals tortured or treated badly .
The main reason that people let animal testing continue is the development of meds etc.
 My 3 yr old granddaughter is diabetic.
The insulin keeping her alive would never have been developed without a germen shepherd .
If I were to condemn them I would be a hypocrite.
The syphilis epidemic would have killed 1/2 the world without the help of a horse.
I agree that cosmetics shouldn't need animal testing
Before you condemn animal testing look at any medication that you or a family member that you love may need to stay alive and healthy

ok so anyone with diabetes cant use insulin, all vaccines are now null and void. all those and more have come from animal testing. so watch what you say. i find animal testing 100% necessary. its not outrageous and cruel. what has PETA done to you?

by the logic you have stated you'd much rather see a close relative or a best friend die of a preventable or controllable disease/condition. vs saving lab mice?

Because rational people realize animal testing is absolutely necessary especially in the medical field. Millions are alive and well today thanks to drugs and vaccines tested extensively in animals.

Cosmetics is a different story. Tell me you use ZERO cosmetics.
