Its Russian counterpart is Roscosmos, and it is in charge of the only cosmodrome for manned spacecrafts on the planet - the Baikonur. For the last 5 years, we have had more successful launches than NASA ( and about as many failed ones as well).
Roscosmos is using a launch family of several rockets, the most famous of them is the R-7, commonly known as the Soyuz rocket, which is used by most astronauts , both Russian and foreign.
