Hello! Please help me! Pc stuff!?

Why did my pc suddenly lost its genuine on windows? when i first purchased it...at my computer-properties...at the bottom right it say genuine...then today on 17/7/13 i boot my pc then suddenly it says an error mesage says that mine is not genuine...then i cant open any games that i have installed....my wallpaper turns black and everything goes nut....should i reformat it and send it back to the shop that i purchased it? i still gphave one year warranty left....oppinion?

    1. Are you sure you saw in the properties box that is is genuine? Could it be something like you have XX days to activate your copy? Make sure you have the Windows 7 certificate of authenticity either at the bottom of your computer or attached to your user's manual.

    2. Do not touch anything, backup your files if you can and send it back, you could be a victim of counterfeiting. You can also report the seller to Microsoft.
