Christians, what is your evidence for the existence of God?

I'm not trying to troll, I promise.

I'm just curious to what your evidence is for God's existence, and what you consider evidence and why?

No argument that any Christian has ever presented to me has convinced me of the existence of God, but now's your chance to prove me and other Atheists wrong.

Go!

Update:

@ Paradise

The Bible cannot be used as evidence for itself because it would be the same thing as me saying that Evolution exists because Darwin's "Origin of Species" says so.

The reason evolution exists because it's common knowledge that change over time happens, and it can be supported through scientific observation. Whether or not that has anything to do with Humans coming from Monkeys is up for debate, but my point is that a book cannot be validation for the existence of God because what it says in the book can't be validated outside the book, that's the reason why I've never been convinced of God's existence.

They'll say the bible, and that they have visions,

    Which doesn't prove anything.

Belief in God is a matter of choice. No argument can convince you if you choose not to believe in it. Therefore, no one can prove that God exists, nor can anyone prove that he doesn't because there really is no definitive, universal evidence. What a believer considers evidence, a non-believer very well may not. For example, a believer could look at the stars, or any other element of nature and its complexities and conclude that it had to have had a designer, i.e. God. A non-believer looks at the same thing and thinks nothing of it. So my advice is not to worry about what the next person believes. Some don't believe in God, some people do. Who cares?

There's a lot I could say but I look at something like the human body. The human body is a miraculous thing and humans do not have the capability to simulate it or "make" a human per say. Yes babies are made, but the process in itself is something incredible that comes from the one above(God).

I don't know what you consider to be evidence, but when people go to a boring *** place such as CHURCH and do redundant things. Sit and listen to some guy preach what they could read themselves and DO realize this guy is a sinner just like themselves, I don't know what do you think? Am I just some desperate soul in search of a group hug or comfort or maybe just maybe God answered me when I believed in him by faith.

Religious hypocrisy, such atheistic teachings as evolution, and the prevalence of wickedness have caused many to doubt or even deny the existence of a Creator. However, if you allow it to, the Bible can provide satisfying answers to your questions. It also reveals God’s thoughts, “thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Bible’s explanation of God’s permission of suffering has touched the mind and heart of many former atheists. By taking the time to find the Bible’s answer to such vital questions, you too may come to be convinced that there is a God who is, in fact, “not far off from each one of us.”—Acts 17:27.

The evidence is unique to the experience of each believer.

Like the scientific method, form a working hypothesis, then test it.

Start a prayer log book, genuinely test if prayer works.

Do this by praying for other people, not asking for stuff.

Keep track of what & when you prayed, write in follow ups.

Source(s): Seek & you will find, ask & it will be given, knock & the door will be opened. But you have to be genuinely seeking, not fooling around.

There will be quotes and examples taken from the bible, but no physical proof that can be explained just as easily as science.

Specifically what evidence would you accept?

The evidences is there has been all along why would you believe it if it was told you again? Would you believe it was spoken from a cloud? Or from a ghostly figure? What would make you believe it?
