Can you remove a Fiero cam without removing the engine?

1988 Fiero GT, can you remove the camshaft without pulling out the engine? I'm assuming not..

    It's gonna be the same answer no matter how many times you ask, pal.

    You need some schooling in auto mechanics, son. YES, of course, you do have to pull the engine to replace the cam - it's a transversely-mounted engine in a tiny mid-engine car!!

    This is a transverse mounted engine, so, no.

    If you're going to remove the engine, replace it with a Chevy small block V8 for best results. That will make it Mustang eater.
