What was so special for you in 2012 ?

i made a great deal of money by day trading literally thousands of different shares just sitting here in England using my computer ...

No contest really, becoming a grandfather was the most special thing that's happened to me since I had my own children.

EDIT:- Since this was posted in Mythology and Folklore, I suppose I should mention the fact that they have finally installed the new gates to Moseley Bog, which is an area where J.R.R. Tolkien used to play as a child, and it's been said that it was an inspiration for his later writings.

This area is only a mile from where I live, and I try to visit it as often as possible.

My hard work at establishing a bird and butterfly garden paid off. I raised 24 Monarch butterflies (from homegrown milkweed) and had lots of Rufous hummingbirds nectaring in the garden during the summer. It was an awesome year!

My BELIEF.

I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky. And... I believe the children are our future and also, I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows LOL XD
