Boston Terrier Puppy eating too much?

I recently welcomed a Boston terrier puppy into my home, he is about 8-10 weeks old and a true healthy happy bundle of joy, the problem is that he will literally eat himself sick! I have been feeding him high quality puppy food,at first I was letting him eat as much as he wanted but he overeats and then throws up, at the next feeding I tried feeding him ONLY according to the directions on the puppy food bag but then he keeps looking for more food as if he was still hungry, I never had that problem with my shih tzu (now elderly), she would just eat until satisfied but my little Darwin acts like a food hoarder, what should I do? Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

    If I allowed my Cavaliers to eat as much as the wanted they would eat until they were sick and then continue to eat. Don't give him any more food just because he puts on the act of being starving.

    You're in charge of the food so feed the Boston the correct amount of food and you won't end up with an obese dog.

    This pup probably had to compete with his litter mates for food so he'll eat as much as he can. Don't be conned by him.

    Add: Marilyin has a good point. This puppy should be fed 3 or 4 small meals a day.

    I just got a boston terrier last week and she is the sweetest dog, she had diarrhea as well for the first 3 days and that was because of the change in food, we asked the vet and he said it's normal, we gor her puppy food from petsmart, I think it's called natures choice but I AM NOT SURE, it looks like brown cheerios and she doesnt stop eating, she gained almost a pound in 6 days so I guess it's good. GOOD LUCK

    At 8-10 weeks he should be eating every 4-5 hours. Measure the amount you feed him and give him 5-10 minutes to eat. When he is done put any un eaten food away for later. If he was exercised alot and played with alot during the day you can add 1/2 an extra cup to one of his feedings. Keep him on a strict feeding schedule. You may also only give him treats during training in-between meal times (don't give too many)

    Free feeding any dog is not a very good idea as they can get overweight quickly and you don't notice it. Evidently you have a food aholic as many of us do and you will have to control what he eats. Feed only the amount on the package of the food you've chosen and harden your heart, for the dogs health, to those big eyes.

    Print off this picture and make sure you don't let your dogs, either one,get fatter than what this shows you;

    Boston is an essential mixture of colonial record and cutting-edge innovation. From the wonderful cobblestones of Beacon Hill and progressive landmarks of the Freedom Trail, to the iconic reasons of Harvard University and Fenway Park, Boston is just a value trove of Americana and with hotelbye you may have the chance to know this treasure. Boston is famous it as the "support of liberty" and Faneuil Hall is among the areas must-see similar to the adjoining Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a spot which includes three long halls: Quincy Industry, North Market, and South Market. , Faneuil Hall Marketplace is dating from the first 19th century and is now occupied with a vibrant assortment of shops, restaurants, and exhibitions. In good temperature, you will find street artists and buskers wearing shows in the square round the market.

    your vet should tell you how much to feed him. I would go with smaller amounts and feed him a couple times a day. I have a Boston Terrier. They are great dogs
