Not 100% sure but it DOES look like the right port.

Here's what you need to know to do the job safely.

FIRST: The recharge kit will only plug into the proper connector. If your kit won't go into that port then it's the high pressure side.

SECOND: There is a high pressure side and a low pressure side. The pump compresses the gas (freon) and it gets hot when that happens. The HOT gasses pass through the cooler core in front of the radiator. Then the gasses (after doing a few other things) passes through a small valve that prevents the high pressure from entering, but only a little at a time. All the while the compressor is pumping freon into the high pressure side it's creating a vacuum on the low pressure side. When the freon passes through that little valve and enters into the vacuum side, the reverse happens (opposite of when compressed - gets hot) the gas gets cold. The cold air is circulated through the cold core inside the car. Heat from the cars interior is drawn into the cold freon and colder air comes out. That warmed freon then goes back into the compressor and again gets hot. Even hotter than before. Again the hot gasses pass through that core in front of the radiator blowing off the excess heat - vacuum - cold - compression - hot - vacuum - cold - - - you get the picture by now.

IMPORTANT: You need to know the proper operating pressure for your system. If ever you were to put the freon kit onto the high pressure side, the can could blow up in your hand and make for a rather unpleasant day. But fortunately some engineer decided to make a system that was fool proof. But you never know what a fool will do.

So be safe, that's the proper place to recharge the AC (probably). Just read all the instructions on the kit BEFORE you do anything else. Do nothing until you've read through ALL the instructions. Proper pressure is key to your AC working properly.

    G-day mate.
