How would I go about getting a free trial for XBOX live?
I have XBOX Live Silver, but I want a 30 day or weekend free trial. I heard you cant get it anymore but I wasn't sure. I had a PS3 that I played online with all the time, but the PS3 crashed. I love HALO, and GTA 4. And I would love to play online for a little while. But I was just wondering how I would go about doing that, I mean would I get it on the Internet or would I go about it on my XBOX? Oh and I have a first GEN XBOX 360. Its one of the white XBOXs, not black. But if this has been disabled, I understand. Thanks,

usualy microsoft have free gold weekends straight after new dashboard updates come out. you are in luck, as a new one came out 2 days ago (which i hate xD) so i would expect there to be a free weekend soon. if you REALLY cant get xbox live gold (for about 22 pounds :) ) you can make a new xbox live account (registered with a windows live email address) and you should automatically be given a month of free gold. To be honest though i would buy xbox live gold 12 months if i were you because it is awesome!

You get the free 30 day trial of Gold by making a new account on your 360 and signing up for Live. When it asks you what you'd like to do, pick upgrade later and it will offer the trial. Each 360 comes with 3 of these.
