They went into the Contact List of one of your friends. They used that to send the spam to you.
They also try to get email addresses anyplace they can. Sometimes they send out spam to jim1, jim2, jim3, jim4 and everyone who has a name.

I would think they know you from mutual friends on your list, and that they accidentally send e-mails to you that come from the computer, which is one of the most common accidents while on the computer, and the world overall.
