Is there a way to make and receive phone calls using Google Voice with a headset?

Some places i might not have reception- so i prefer using the computer to make and receive phone calls. Thanks

Update:

There's no cel-phone reception. so i want to use my Google voice to receive and make calls instead using purely internet access.

    There's no reception involved when making calls on line and all your headset is is an extension of your speakers with a microphone added.

    All in all, the headset will neither help nor hinder you in this process.
