Any tips on holding a mango for cutting being that they're so slippery after peeling?

    Don't peel it first if that's what you'e doing (if you really want to peel first, then dig in with your fingernails or use a washcloth or paper towel or a fork/et in the holding hand).

    I eat mangos all the time though and have a way that works well for me, and really isn't slippery. If you're interested, check out my description in this previous answer:

    cut it before you peel it. There is a video on how to cut mangos. Look for that. It will help.

    Hold the mango with a paper towel or a dish towel.
