Rental Property Owner?

I own an apartment in a co-op in New York, and I sublet the apartment while I traveled for part of 2010. Am I considered a rental property owner for tax purposes?

    Maybe.

    See IRS pub 527 for not-for-profit rentals--they are reported differently, but the income is reported (unless the total was less than 14 days).
