Need Use of Typewriter?

I have a couple class assignments that I need to work on. I need to use a typewriter (not a computer) but an actual typewriter. I do not want to buy one; I just need to be able to use one for a small fee for maybe one or two hours.

I live in San Francisco. Does anyone know where I may be able to sit at a typewriter station and use a typewriter without having to buy one?

BTW, I already called Kinko's and Office Depot and neither place provides that.

Try second-hand stores, or check with neighbors who are of retirement age, they may likely have a typewriter laying around.

Or, check with a book club or authors club - some bibliophiles might like to keep typewriters around just because they are dependable.

Another possible source would be a newspaper - email an long time columnist and ask them if they have a typewriter you could use for your assignment.
