Transferring FAFSA to Graduate School?

I'm graduating undergrad school in December and entering graduate school in January 2011. Since I'm currently enrolled in undergrad for Fall 2010, I already filled out my FAFSA for the 2010-2011 academic year. Is there a way to carry my FAFSA info over to graduate school or do I have to fill out a new one? How do I roll it over?

Add the school code of your new school to your current application and your new school should be able to view it. Your financial aid package will of course change, as a graduate, you are no longer eligible for grants as you have obtained your first Bachelor's degree, your financial aid will consist of graduate loans only.

The FAFSA is only the utility style which you fill out each year to prepare for want based federal help. i think of what you're proceeding to ask approximately is what to do with regard to the scholar loans which you won as a effect of the FAFSA. you're appropriate that while you at the instant are not any further in college, you will would desire to start reimbursement of those loans. by way of fact of this it always is sensible to stay in college till you have performed the terminal diploma on your container. or you will no longer have the skill to make sufficient funds to pay off your loans. the appropriate source of counsel approximately your reimbursement techniques is whoever holds your loans - Sallie Mae, the college itself, a private lender. overview your very own loan scientific medical doctors and get in touch with them - you in all hazard have a six month grace era afterwhich reimbursement starts off. you have 2 options right here - you may initiate reimbursement or take sufficient classes at a community college to be seen finished time while you agree on which direction you're getting in next. additionally, you will have an option to make smaller funds for the 1st few years and better funds down the line.
