I have only tried one birth control and that was mirena and I gained 10 lbs immediately, never broke out tho, and went from 100% pleasant and happy all the time to brooding psycho bytch. That thing is hell if your body doesn't like it. Take it out-- now! I only had it for a month and it caused so much pain from the "threads" which I called wires. It felt like there were blades in there instead. Awful!

I'm 18 weeks with my second and I know I will absolutely have to get on b/c after this one because we can't have any more kids-- well I don't want to handle another kid. I am just done for a while after this one, ya know? I am dreading having to pick. I hate b/c. Hate the idea. It's so unnatural and the only way my body is in check and my mood normal is if I go natural. I'm thinking of paraguard. It's a copper IUD instead of hormones it releases copper which is still unnatural but doesn't mess with my body's ebb and flo ya know? It's still scary to have any device inside you or a pill or rod in your arm or shot or patch... yuck I hate b/c. maybe I'll just be like the mom from 19 and counting and just have kids all my life... maybe not >.> still I hate birthcontrol lol

lol btw- my name is kayla and my sisters name is danielle =D

condoms! I know that they take some getting used to and can spoil the moment a bit, lol. Anything hormone based plays up with me, and the thought of a device up there turns me off completely. My partner and I are 39 weeks and plan on using condoms again after the birth. He's fine with this as he is the one that has to put up with my moods when I am on hormone based birth control!
