It is the basic human nature. It is a tribute if one can change or enlarge this ordinary nature towards divine nature. People may become beasts if we are dispossessed of this human nature which is basically kindness, which one displays.

I hope this is not some random attempt for a feel good session about 'humanity'
The greatest 'attribute' is how most of us can live in the Western world oblivious to the suffering on the rest of the planet and celebrate our way of live with no conscience.
Most amazing however is our ability to blindly follow these puppets we call our government and to soak up all the lies society shoves down our throats everyday.
Hope you have a nice day :-)

The greatest attribute is our ability to express our Godlike qualities in our human nature.

—Discernment
You cannot know anything; if you cannot discern it.
You cannot act on; what is unknown and oblivious to you.
You cannot act wisely without knowledge.
—Discernment creates wisdom; thus it is a more important quality than wisdom as: there is no wisdom without it.
By the way, the expression of virtue is wise; and therefore requires some discernment e.g. that you love someone (subjective psychological discernment; subject personal knowledge).
So the qualities of love and compassion are a kind of personal/social wisdom; e.g. Sacrifice; it is unwise practically, but maybe not personally/socially.

the ability to learn others
that's actually what sets us apart from animals
we have the capacity to learn others to teach them to give them advice and to learn from our mistakes
unlike monkeys who just imitate other monkeys; that's not learning
