What stores have good clothes (women's) for job interviews?

I'm a graduate student on a very tight budget, so I have to take that into consideration. Any tips on where to find affordable but professional clothes?

So far I've looked at Target and I hate everything they have in the store right now! Will probably try Sears next, but any other suggestions?

Thank you!

New York & Co is great if you have their credit card - you get way better deals with the coupons they mail you. (Once with a combo of coupons and sales I got a total of $250 worth of work clothes for $65.) Also, a lot of their stuff is machine washable so you will save money by not having to dry clean it. Big bonus in my opinion.

Old Navy has good stuff online that they might not have in store, but sometimes the fit tends toward boxy with dress shirts.

Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshall's all sometimes have good choices but are hit or miss.

Whatever you do, don't buy business clothes at Sears. They will be cheap and poorly made and you won't have that professional look that you're going for. Try Macy's clearance rack. People don't realize that you can get great quality clothes for Target prices if you shop at the right time. Also, try Syms which is also Filene's basement now. They have fantastic designer clothes for a fraction of the price and you will look like a million bucks for $50. But don't go to Sears, Target or JCPenney's. Go to the better stores and head straight to the clearance or sale racks. Good luck!!

Assuming the interview will ensue contained in the iciness or late fall the position the temperature is decrease than 50 ranges Fahrenheit, the jacket is amazingly positive with the red headscarf. Assuming the more youthful lady who will be interviewed for the garments keep interest is amazingly skinny, horizontal stripes will be ok for the lengthy sleeved correct in the different case, a undeniable effortless colored woven blouse in a good colour might want to carry off the adulthood situation. The shoes, that are platform shoes look too intense to be gentle on the interest the position a lot walking about might want to generally be anticipated by technique of the customers and the keep manager. those leggings are very stylish yet seem somewhat too casual or overly casual for a suitable interest interview. an attractive good colour skirt on the knee or extremely decrease than knee or instantly leg woven pants that are a lot less form setting up than leggings and some conservative gown apartments or a a million inch pump might want to look better businesslike for a job applicant of any age.

Try Burlington Coat Factory, if it's in your area.

Also Dress Barn, Fashion Bug; maybe even Kohls.

    All the best.
