attacked by spam bots on you tube!?

as of late, spam bots have targeted certain call of duty videos i have and post the same message leading to a harmful site. youtube needs to try and stop these accounts from being made, and i cant report them to youtube because their is no way to contact them directly. is their a goverment site where i can report the bots spamming me with pirated software?

    You can just mark them as spam and/or delete the comments yourself OR you can set your videos so that you need to approve all comments before they are posted.. and can not approve all the spam ones so they won't be posed on your videos.

    There is no law against spamming in comment section or forums, it only applies to unwanted email. Additionally spammers usually use viruses to infect other peoples machines and use those to send out the spam, or they reside in countries with lax laws, thus making tracking them nearly impossible to track down. Unfortunatly there is nothing the government or police can do for you. As far as YouTube being able to stop them from being made, that's also nearly impossible. Spammers always find ways around filters, and restricting sign ups too much would harm legit users. YouTube has a report link you can use to report them and they'll get removed soon after. That's really all that can be done, just hope YouTube staff keeps remove those accounts.

    Just read House's answer and now I know what a spam bot is. P&S is such a place of wonder and things to learn. Oh and to answer your question, I find it extremely annoying. I always give them a TD just so I can see the page properly.

    its cuz you keep looking on the same sites, cookies think you might be interested at their sites relating to the same subject, delete your browsing history and cookies
