how do you store your drinking water?

is it safe enough to store it in a water bottle? i know it's not safe because the plastic bottle releases dioxin, a chemical that can lead to cancer. so how do you store your drinking water?

Stainless steel bottles.  I have a big pink one from a brand called "klean kanteen", but you can find them pretty much everywhere now as they are slowly replacing nalgene bottles now that we are realizing plastic is not healthy.  You can also get the really trendy/fancy ones from Lululemon if you care about how it looks.
